The collection of fabrics and interior seams groups objects which have both an utilitarian role (those with household use, for practical purposes) and a decorative role (those used to decorate the interiors), and ceremonial fabrics.
The folk creator managed to use, consciously or not, a variety of themes for each of their decorative patterns. Among the most important fabrics the museum has special lipideie, peretare, bedspreads, wool ţoluri, decorative towels and household towels, rugs, bed drawers, which together combine the colors and modesl from the warm atmosphere of the old Romanian interior.
There exists, at every piece, a balance of the elements and the floral and geometric motifs and always dress the objects surfaces.
The color palette is rich but the predominant colors are red, blue, green, brown – in different shades.
